So what is up DeviantArt? It's been more than a year since I visited this site last. A lot has happened in terms of life and career. Been through some rough times in the past year struggling to make things work. I don't know if you all remember but we had planned to move to North Carolina, and were having troubles with landlords in Michigan. So now we find ourselves in the Central Coast of California, residing in Santa Maria California. Much has changed in terms of life more than a move across the country. Four months ago my son Dakotah was born. Still adjusting to that schedule while trying to work and bring in a lot more illustration jobs. I have been mainly pulling in income from illustrating Artist Sketch Cards for Topps, and Upperdeck and a few other card publishers like Sadlittles.com and 5Finity.

Getting back into the groove of things and finding my center again. Everyday with the family and my art also renewing my faith as a Christian. Things are looking up and the world is opening up for a lot more opportunities. Which brings me to Crisishour Productions.

Crisishour Productions is about to be in full swing. We have a few artists in our staff, and a few honorary members. People that will be doing work for us from time to time on a work for hire basis, or some friends that owe me a solid. ;) (You know who you are.)

So look for a few concept pieces to be floating around here and there, as well as some fan benefits in the future. Lots of fun art projects coming up as well, and maybe even a contest or two. Soon enough I'll plague the journal with writings of upcoming comics, properties, art books, and other neat collectibles.

I will be in touch as much as I can with a busy schedule and a family at home. But please if you have any questions send me a note, and I'll try to address anything that comes my way.

J.Treece + Dabel Brothers = Fall Out Boy Comic

Fri Feb 15, 2008, 12:54 PM
Well it's not entirely ME. There are a few people going in on this, but I did a lot to help out the comic, if you want to hit up the article on Newarama the link is here -

http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=146879

So If you guys would jump over there and show some support (as newsarama ends up becoming a bitch fest about credibility of the title or style whores) I would appreciate it a little more positive feedback on this instead of "they shouldn't make a comic because they are a no talent pop band."

Thanks ya'll

What's new today?

Just thought I'd toss up a new journal.

Been working hard on trying to complete all these commissions whilst doing my routine comic work. Scheduling isn't my biggest strength so thanks for everyone for being so patient and considerate! I will let you all know that the start of next week I'm going to plague the post office and mass ship all the pieces out that need to be shipped.

On another note I put up a new design for my website, and it has a lot of cool new features! Just hit it over at JeremyTreece.com to check it out. I'll be uploading a lot more later, after the urgent jobs are completed.

I have the store open now which has a limited number of signed remarked copies of Hero@Large #1 and #2 as well as the original Gravity Girl mini comic from 2003! Check those out as well.

Some other URLs you should keep an eye out for.

- Keys of Mahdicia

I will update those with content soon as well.

I think that's about it for now. Thanks for reading!
